How do I add or change a guardian?
In the app: “Add a guardian” from the home screen, or Settings → My guardians. You can have up to 3 guardians and remove one at any time (they are notified).
My guardian doesn’t answer
Each request expires after one hour. To stop depending on a single person, add a 2nd or 3rd guardian: the request goes to all of them, and the first to answer decides. Your joker is still there for real emergencies.
How does the joker work?
Once a day, you can open a blocked app for 5 minutes without your guardians’ approval. The joker refills every day, and your guardians see when you use it.
How do I turn Keymate off?
In iOS Settings → Screen Time, remove the permission given to Keymate: blocks are lifted immediately. It’s your phone, you stay free. But your guardians are notified.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Delete my account. All your data is erased. Remember to cancel your subscription too, in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
My invitation link doesn’t work
Open Keymate and type in the 6-character code shown on the invitation page. If the invitation has already been used, ask for a new one.
